Peruvian Amazon & Andean Adventure

A cultural journey through the Amazon Rainforest, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Machu Picchu, and into the heart of South American divadom.

Lush tropical jungles, majestic Andean highlands, dune-covered desert coastline, mighty rivers and otherworldly biodiversity — these are a few of the Peruvian attractions we’ll experience. By foot, horseback, bicycle and canoe, we will explore Peru’s unique natural world, and seek out and meet the people of the Quechua and Afro-Peruvian cultures along the way. Our cultural interpreters and hosts on this Diva Tour will be artisans, shamans, musicians, tribal people and activists.

Explore the eerie catacombs of the San Francisco Monastery, admire the artistic flair of bohemian Barranco and dine on ceviche in fashionable Miraflores all in the coastal city of Lima. Stroll the cobbled narrow streets in timeless Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire, and admire brilliant highland ruins where the Incas flourished. Bicycle down Lares Pass through llama and alpaca pastures, Andean villages and stunning scenery. Take an unforgettable one-day hike along the final stretch of the Inca trail to the mysterious Machu Picchu — one of the most awe-inspiring sites in the world. Spy troupes of squirrel monkeys in the soaring jungle canopy and watch flocks of colorful parrots and macaws fly amid fruiting trees in the Amazon Rainforest.
