Keri Hulme’s quirky, brilliant Booker Prize winning masterpiece, The Bone People, is an unconventional take on families, cultures and life on New Zealand’s South Island. It is a dark, twisted gem and one of our personal all-time favorites… definitely a must read. The book and the author were the subject of much ado in Adventure Divas’ New Zealand: Stroppy Sheilas & Mana Wahines.
